Tummy Tuesday - 34 Weeks

How far along?  34 weeks! I will be 35 weeks tomorrow. Baby Shea is the size of a cantaloupe.

Total weight gain/measurements: 14/15-lbs.

Maternity clothes: It's pretty much all I wear now. I do wear regular cardigans too, I just leave them unbuttoned.

Stretch marks: Yes!!!! They're here....I have been using Bio Oil on them (hate the smell) and they do seem like they've stopped spreading, but it's probably just in my head.

Sleep: What is this sleep thing you speak of? Between pee breaks and trying to find a comfy position I only get about 4 hours of sleep a night.

Best moment this week: Baby Shea's baby shower! All of our closest friends and family were there and it was a great time. We truly appreciate all the hard work and love that was put into it.

Miss anything? Sleep!! Being able to put on my shoes without feeling like a contortionist.

Movement: Lots!! Her favorite is still daddy's voice & Spanish music.

Food cravings: None. I could probably live on fluids alone, my appetite has been nonexistent lately.

Anything making you queasy or sick? Still cigarette smoke.

Gender:  Girl!!

Symptoms: Peeing all the time. Rib and back pain. Oh and the urge to get things clean and organized has begun...uhoh!

Belly button in or out? Out. I always called it a done button, but our baby girl isn't done 'cooking' yet.

Wedding rings on or off? A bit of both. My wedding band no longer fits, but my engagement ring does.

Happy or moody most of the time: Happy! Even with the lack of sleep I've been in a good mood.

Looking forward to: Starting my maternity leave (in 4 weeks) and of course meeting baby Shea!

Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.
