I'm not a hair girl..
I think that fact should be pretty clear by now. I pretty much wash my hair and leave it loose. If I want to get fancy then I will add a twist or two, but that's about it. I have a ton of flair irons, curling irons, and hair accessories that rarely get any love.
Hair products on the other hand..I love!!! I love to see which products will give me the most shine and the least amount of frizz. For right now I have found the perfect products to accomplish this.

Note: My hair is THICK and naturally wavy. I dye my hair every 6-8 weeks, but it does not show any signs of damage.

Bed Head Foxy Curls Contour Cream - Defines my waves without making them hard. Buy here.
Redken Anti-Snap Leave-In Conditioner - I've been using this since high school and I love it! This makes my hair amazingly soft and really helped my hair when I was constantly dying it in high school. Plus this smells amazing!! Buy here.
After I shower I get two pumps of each product and mix them all together between my hands, then I apply all over my hair starting at the ends first. Simple!! If my hair still looks frizzy after it has dried then I apply Mythic Oil, and if my waves aren't very defined then I scrunch some Foxy Curls Contour Cream into it. Note: This is what works for me. If your hair is thin I do not suggest using this much product!!

ReplyDeleteWE DIDN'T GET THE JOHN FREIDA FLYAWAY TAMER YET. HOPE THEY BRING IT HERE. BUT I HAVE HAIR SPRAY I WILL TRY TO SPRAY IT ON MY HAIR BRUSH THANK U FOR THE TIPS IS REALLY WORKING ON MY NERVES IT GIVES THE IMPRESSION I AM NOT NEAT WITH MY APPEARANCE
ReplyDeleteI'm with you! My hair is thick and has a very slight wave to it. My colored gray hair is also wiry and difficult! I use two pumps of Moroccanoil on my wet hair, blow dry and style, and use a Kerastase Serum like Oleo-Relax or Elixir Ultime, to finish. I also use the Elixir Ultime on my hair between shampoos to keep it under control. I don't have enough waves to scrunch - just enough to be unruly! Only thick haired people can use this much product though - which is most Asians!
