Hard Candy Sheer Envy Skin Perfecting Primer

Hard Candy recently came out with 2 new primers & of course I had to go and pick one of them up. There are now 3 primers in their collection: skin perfecting primer (which I am reviewing below), illuminating primer, & the original primer formula. FYI - All of the primers & tinted moisturizers by Hard Candy begin with the name Sheer Envy.

 

Perfecting primer evens out skin tone and creates a flawless, smooth finish to skin. Fills in fine lines, wrinkles, and pores. Can be worn alone or under makeup. 

The consistency of this is just like any other silicone based primer. The product is thick and leaves a nice silky appearance after applied to skin.

Pros

-My pores were completely filled in after applying this, making them invisible.

-My makeup lasted beautifully when wearing this, 16+ hours!! 

-Kept my shine at bay all day.

-Affordable!! Under $10 at Walmart.

Cons

-This made me break out. Badly!! This gave me several cystic acne pimples.

-If you apply too much or rub this in too hard this will peel off or start to pill up.

-If you do not have a Walmart near you can only buy this product online.

Overall

I will not be buying this product again. I do think this is a good dupe to the Smashbox Photofinish primer.
