Product Review: ELF Studio Tinted Moisturizer/Contest Winner

e.l.f. Studio Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20

This lightweight and hydrating formula is breathable and provides anti-aging sun protection with UVA/UVB SPF 20. Achieve even skin tone and naturally radiant skin with this moisturizing sheer tint of color. The smooth formula enhances your complexion with the nourishing key ingredients Aloe, Cucumber and Vitamins A, C & E. -From the ELF website.

  • Contains SPF 20.
  • Affordable. Regular price is $3.00, but we all know never to pay full price for ELF right? I paid $1.50 with a coupon code.
  • Moisturizes the skin very well, without making it oily. Great for all skin types.
  • Does not make me break out.
  • The consistency is mousse like and it doesn't run everywhere as you try to apply it.
  • The product comes 30% full. That means at least 70% of the tube is EMPTY when you get it.
  • I did not notice ANY tint in this moisturizer, meaning it doesn't even give a light coverage.
  • There are only 7 color options to choose from, not like that matter since the tint doesn't cover anything.
Notice how my pros lists has more points than my cons list..?? Well that's still not enough to make me buy this product again. This is a good moisturizer, but I already own several good moisturizers and this just doesn't do the job I want it to do & that's to give my skin light coverage. Plus the fact that the tube comes with such a little amount of product is frustrating & I am not the only person that says this is how their product came.
