You NEED Your Beauty Sleep!! Product Review: Breathe Right Strips

This product review has nothing to do with makeup, but we all know how important beauty sleep is!!

I have to begin this by saying, I DO NOT get enough sleep. EVER!! I try my BEST to, but it just doesn't seem to happen. Every night I look at the clock and think, "OK I have 1 more hour to get things done and then BED!"..NEVER happens!! Then if I DO go to sleep early I rarely fall asleep right away..there are several reasons for this - a cat that wants to play, too many thoughts on my mind, noisy neighbors, or a snoring hubby. The snoring hubby is the ONE thing on my list I can try to help so a few days ago we bought him some Breathe Right Strips in hopes that they would halt his snoring. Guess what..?? It worked!!!! Now that's not the part I'm really excited about...it worked for me too!!! I'm not really a person that snores, unless I'm really sick or I drink alcohol (opps!). Last night the hubby suggested I give the strips a try since we bought the ones with menthol, in hopes that the menthol scent would relax me and put me to sleep.

As soon as I applied the strips I could BREATHE, I didn't even KNOW I was that congested (I do have allergies). The only thing I could describe this as is when you eat a piece of really minty gum and suddenly you can breathe...that's what this felt like without the mint. Even now, 3 hours after I removed the strip I feel like I can breathe better!!!

I decided to share a little of the product info from the website..

Breathe Right® nasal strips gently open nasal passages so you can breathe through your nose and close your mouth, reducing snoring.

Each drug-free, non-prescription nasal strip consists of flexible, "spring-like" bands. Placed correctly across the nose, the bands gently lift the sides of nose to provide:

•Nasal congestion relief due to the common cold or allergies

•Snoring relief to sleep better

•Better breathing for people with a deviated septum

Now I can't say I feel like I got 8 hours of sleep, because I didn't!! I can say that the quality of my sleep was MUCH better than usual. I slept for 6 hours and I honestly don't think I woke up once.

Pros:
-Helps you breathe better.
-Affordable - $13 for a one month supply. I don't know about you, but $13 seems like a small price to sleep better.
-Reduces snoring. (for my hubby anyway.)
-The menthol smell is relaxing.
-A quick and simple solution!! This product only takes seconds to apply and to remove.
-Being able to breathe better allows for a better quality of sleep.

Cons:
-If you're skin is sensitive this may feel a little rough. Tip: Apply lotion to your nose before you apply and it won't seem as rough.
-Placement can be tricky, if you put it too high or too low on your nose this won't work.

They do have a demo page that shows you how to apply the product, how it works, and how to find the perfect fit. Click here to view!!

Overall
I'm in love!! Even if you don't have a problem sleeping at night this is a great product to try if you have problems with congestion. I wouldn't suggest wearing these outside of the house -even though they do have a clear strip, I doubt it disappears on your skin!

Have you tried breathe right strips..??? Let me know what you think!!
