Drugstore Amazingness!! Product Review: St. Ives Naturally Clear Green Tea Cleanser

The weather here has been CRAZY lately, one day it's 40 & the next is 80!! As a result my skin is not reacting well, it feels really irritated and itchy. FYI-The Formula 10.0.6 has been put on the back burner for now, I don't think it does much for my skin besides dry it out & in turn make my skin look REALLY oily later. I've also been having a problem with removing my mascara, it doesn't seem to matter how well I take it off at night there still seems to be a lovely ring under my eyes in the morning. GRRR!!!

A few weeks ago I read that Fuz Kittie was loving a drugstore cleanser and once I did a little research on the product I decided I needed to give it a try. The product she was raving about was:

St. Ives Naturally Clear Green Tea Cleanser, Oil-Free

Clears breakouts and reduces redness Salicylic Acid Acne Medication With 100% Natural Green Tea

This cleanser deep cleans to gently remove dirt and make-up and helps maintain skin's moisture balance.

Green Tea: is the natural winner over its color wheel opposite, red(ness) thanks to rich sources of vitamins C and E. Green tea is also known to soothe your skin and its antioxidant powers protect it from unfriendly environmental factors and free radicals, both known to age skin.

Olive Oil and Olive Leaf Extract: Both of these ingredients are rich in skin-softening glycerides, which means they not only cleanse gently, they can help to improve your skin?s appearance with easily absorbed moisture. They also offer multiple benefits:

Olive Oil is known for its heart-healthy properties, but in our skin care products, you?ll enjoy olive oil?s protective, moisturizing antioxidant qualities.

Olive Leaf Extract is known to help to boost the overall health of your skin and helps to shield it from potentially damaging environmental factors. It?s also known to moisturize and a great helper to dry, cracked skin.
I love this product!!!!! From the first wash I knew I was in LOVE!!!!! It removed 90% of my makeup & I was wearing waterproof mascara!! It left my face feeling cool, hydrated, & balanced (non itchy)...I swear all of the redness I had was gone after one wash!! After a few washes, the white heads I had were gone too!

Pros
-Removes most makeup.
-Treats acne.
-Affordable. I paid $3.50 for this at Kmart.
-Calms irritation.

Cons
None!!

Overall
I really do think I've found my HG cleanser!!! I can't believe so much amazingness comes at such a great cost!!

Have you tried this cleanser..?? What's your HG cleanser??

  5. I've got way too many cleansers waiting to be used (seriously, I just started using one that I bought back in Feb!) but this will be added to my list to try once I get through my current stash - love that price point and that it helps with acne while removing makeup!
