I know you've been waiting a while for me to review this item. I tested it several times so I could give you a thorough review. Let me get right to the point - I did not like this set! Granted there were a FEW things I liked about it, but overall I would NOT recommend this.

Pros:
-In my opinion this has a very masculine scent when you sniff it directly from the bottle. On your hair the scent isn't as strong and it actually has a nice refreshing clean scent, albeit a little masculine.

-The shampoo in this set did lather quite a bit.

-The conditioner does detangle your hair for you while you are in the shower.

-The mint feels refreshing on your scalp.

Cons:
-Your hair feels clean for all of an hour after washing this. I do not have oily hair at all, nor I do use a lot of styling products. I have never had this happen to me before. My scalp felt oily, and my ends felt VERY dry.

-It made my scalp itch!!!! A LOT!! I did a little research and I not allergic to any of the main ingredients in this, but somehow I still reacted badly to this.

-Volume..?? What volume..??? My hair was incredibly flat after using this!! Not too brag but my hair has tons of volume on its own, I buy shampoo and conditioner with volume so I don't have to do any extra work to get big hair once my hair dries. My hair was deflated after using this.

-I'm not sure how good this is for color treated hair, I swear my hair looked duller after every wash!!! Plus there was some slight color leakage as I washed my hair.

Overall: I would not buy this again!! I know this is supposed to be for color treated hair, but it may be a good fit for those with virgin hair, in all honesty though I wouldn't recommend it.

1 out of 5. The 1 is for the minty feeling on your scalp.

  2. Thank you so much for the review! I've been eyeing this ever since I saw the commercials for it. But I've always had bad experiences with drug-store shampoos so I was weary of all of the claims that L'Oreal made. Thank you! =)
