Tummy Tuesday - 17 Weeks
Excuse the not so great picture!! Hubby snapped this on our way to Ikea. No need to be glamorous going there!
How far along? 17 weeks! I will be 18 weeks tomorrow. The baby is the size of an onion.
Total weight gain/measurements: 1-2 lbs, but my stomach and face say otherwise..lol I feel like there's a huge difference in how I look this week, but I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that I've been running around nonstop all week/weekend.
Maternity clothes: Yes!
I've been using maternity bottoms for a bit now. The maternity shorts from Target are awesome and actually show some leg. Why do the other brands make maternity shorts so long?!?! I don't wear shorts past my knees..
Stretch marks: None. I have been using Palmer's Stretch Mark cream to help with the itchy stomach and it's really been helping.
Sleep: I sleep about 7-8 hours a night, but I do think 9 would be ideal at this point. The peeing every 5 minutes has stopped a bit this week.
Best moment this week: Hubby feeling the baby move!
Miss anything? Sleeping comfortably & nonswollen feet.- Same as last week.
Movement: I can feel plenty of movement!! She is most active at night before I go to bed.
Food cravings: Fruit and fries!! I could live off of fruit and fries.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nada.
Gender: It's a GIRL!!!!!! We've only known for a little while, but it feels like ages. Now that I know she's a girl it feels like it was meant to be.
Symptoms: Bloating,
stuffy nose, and swollen feet. - Same as last week. A nice addition is that I have had a tad more energy lately and have been able to stay up till midnight most nights, which was my usual bedtime before I got pregnant.
Belly button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or moody most of the time: A combo of both this week. I am happy most of the time, but seeing how much I have to do (not baby wise, just life wise) makes me a bit moody.
Looking forward to: The next ultrasound so we can see our princess again & buying a crib.

Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.
