Physicians Formula Super BB Powder Review

Happy Friday!!

I have the last and final item from the Physicians Formula BB items to review today.  I saved the best for last or so I think...

Physicians Formula Super BB Cream
This color I used is Medium/Deep.

 Description
1st ever Beauty Balm Powder form for a smoothing effect that instantly diffuses the appearance of imperfections, evens out skin tone and minimizes the appearance of pores.
Weightless powder acts as a protective veil from UV damage & moisture loss so skin looks and feels smooth, glowing and naturally flawless.

10+ Beauty Benefits - Do I agree..??
Smoothing - Yes.
Perfecting - Yes. This evens out my skintone without looking powdery.
Protecting - Yes. The SPF 30 is nice to have in this powder.
Oil Control - Yes!! I definely find myself needing to blot less when I use this powder.
Pore Minimizing - Yes. This seems to fill in my pores and makes them less visible.
Airbrushing - Yes. My skin looks very pretty and glowy after using this.
Line Softening - Ehh.. I don't have any lines to really judge this 'beauty benefit'.
Concealing - No. If you have any major scars or acne this will not conceal it.
Setting -  Yes. You have to be careful not to use too much of this when you use this to set your foundation because it can look heavy, but if you use this lightly it will do a good job. I like to use this by itself.
Long Wearing - Yes. If you use a primer before applying this it can easily last 8-9 hours without any signs of fading.

Bare Face

With Physicians Formula BB Powder - Flash. You can see the lovely Casper glow the SPF 30 gives me when the flash is used.

With Physicians Formula BB Powder - No flash.

This is my favorite item in this BB line. It's long wearing, feels light on my skin, evens out skintone, and it's easy to apply. I do think that this powder would be great for those with combo/oily. Those with dry skin should probably stay away, I think this powder will only accentuate the dry spots on your skin.

I hope you all enjoyed the Physicians Formula BB line reviews!!

  1. Too bad,I have dry skin =/ I do want to try the other BB creams though. Are they anything like a tinted moisturizer?

    1. I did review the other two items. The BB Cream in this line is just a tinted moisturizer with SPF 30, it would probably be a great match for your dry skin...my oily skin wasn't crazy about it though.

  2. Thanks for the reviews, I guess the powder is the only thing from the line I'd pick up

  3. I can see a difference in the picture above. Never seen BB powder before. How interesting. Too bad it doesn't conceal. I have lots of spots.
