September Favorites 2012

I am so happy that it's October!! It's my favorite month. I love Halloween, scary movies, the leaves changing, and the comfy hoodie weather.

Since we've moved into a new month it's time to share with you some of my favorite beauty products from last month.

Hair
CVS had some amazing deals on Nexxus products a few weeks ago and I just had to pick some up!!
Nexxus Pro-Mend Split End Binder & Comb Thru Hairspray

Pro-Mend Split End Binding
I can't say that I've seen a significant change in my split ends, but my hair always looks like I just used a great deep conditioning treatment after I've used this. It's a leave in treatment that you put in your hair at night and then wash out in the morning. Honestly I don't wash this out the next morning, I just put my hair in a bun or braid and let it sit in my hair for a full day. My hair is always so soft and shiny after I use this.

Comb Thru Touchable Hold Hairspray
I always look for hairsprays that have a touchable hold and always end up finding something that leaves my hair hard and a gross residue..not the case with this!! This really is a lightweight hold and it doesn't leave any type of residue in my hair. love!!Plus it's great for keeping frizzies at bay.

Nails
ELF Nail Polishes in Desert Haze & Navy
I think these are going to be my go to Fall colors..so pretty.

Face
Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream in Medium
I've been using this product every day in the month of September and I really like it, but I don't LOVE it. It's great for evening out your skin tone, but it doesn't provide any major coverage. I like that I can apply this on my face without any brushes or without really looking at a mirror. I wouldn't consider this a real BB cream though, it's more of a tinted moisturizer.

ELF Maximum Coverage Concealer in Almond
ELF has finally made a good concealer!! I know the packaging says maximum coverage, but I consider this to be more of a medium coverage. I think this is a GREAT concealer and does a great job concealing dark circles. I haven't had any problems with this concealer getting cakey and for $3 the price can't be beat!

Cheeks
ELF Baked Blush in Rich Rose
This reminds me of the MAC MSF's..I know you were all thinking it!!
The payoff is really good and it leave a pretty glow on your cheeks. This is a must have product for $3.

Benefit Bella Bamba
I used my Sephora Insider points to get this and I'm so glad I did. This is a great pink for everyone, but especially for women of color since this shows up really well on your skin. I love my Coralista, but if I have a tan it doesn't show up on my skin where Bella Bamba does.

ELF Small Stipple Brush
If there is one ELF product you must get this year..THIS IS IT!!
This stipple brush is soft, yet firm. I use this to apply blush and foundation and it does a great job of blending everything in well. This has been my favorite brush since I bought it. I will be buying more!!

Please watch my video below if you want to see swatches and hear me ramble.
