My Hair Care Routine

I feel like it's been such a long time since I've updated you all on what my favorite hair care products are!! It was time for me to change that.  =)

**Note** If you've seen any of my other blog entries about my favorite hair care products, those products still apply!! Lately I've been trying my best to get through the products I currently own instead of constantly buying new products.

Suave Anti-Dandruff Shampoo & Conditioner in Coconut & Shea Butter
This should come as no surprise!! Read my review on these here!

Once a week I use some type of deep conditioner. My two favorites are Cibu Hydrating Masque (Review here!) and Aussie 3 Minute Miracle. I know a lot of people love the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle, it just plain works and it smells delicious!

Without fail as soon as I get out of the shower I spray the back of my hair with Johnson's No More Tangles Detangling Spray, it does a great job of making sure that my hair does not tangle & it smells great!! The next product I always apply is some type of curl/antifrizz item, Nuance Salma Hayek Blue Agave Curl Cream is my current favorite. The Curl Cream helps bring out my waves and does a good job of controlling the frizz.

When my hair feels extra dry and for several days after I dye it I use Redken Anti-Snap Leave in Conditioner. I've been using it since high school and it always brings my hair 'back to life'. If my hair is look extra frizzy or if I'm going out in the rain I use L'oreal Mythic Oil, it's great for controlling frizz without weighing your hair down.

If I want to wear my hair really wavy or I want to put curls in it I always use Suave Captivating Curls Mousse, this  mousse is completely different from anything I've ever tried since the consistency is like a thick whipped cream it gives my hair a nice hold without being crunchy. When I'm going for a sleek look (ponytain/bun) I always use LA Looks Polish Perfect gel, it gives my hair a nice smooth/shiny look without any stiffness or white residue.

I'm really not a fan of most heat protectants; either I hate the smell or it leaves my hair feeling like I have too much product in it. This Suave Heat Defense Leave-In Conditioner is different because it doesn't feel like my hair has anything in it after I use this. My hair looks/feels soft and it smells great after I use this.

On my lazy days I often use dry shampoos, my two current favorites are: Dove Refresh + Care & Suave Kertin Infusion. The Dove dry shampoo is great at bringing the volume back that your hair loses after not washing it for a day or two. I often use this just to add volume to ponytails. I've reviewed the Suave Dry Shampoo here!

On the rare occasion that I use hair spray I use Dove Style + Care, it provides a soft hold without making your hair crunchy.

I know that this was a LONG list of products, but I don't use these all daily (duh).

What products are a part of your hair care routine?
