Skin Care Haul + First Impressions - Nuance Products

Happy Wednesday!!
A few weeks ago I decided to pick up a few skin care items in anticipation of the cooler weather and the changes it will have on mu skin. I made it a point to buy several items from the Nuance line by Salma Hayek since I liked several of the other items I've purchased in the past. All of the products from this line are all also under $20 so that was another big selling point for me.

Dual Phase Body Oil
This has replaced my love for the Neutrogena Body Oil & I thought that would NEVER happen, especially since I was using the Neutrogena Oil for over 10 years!! This body oil contains jojoba and coconut oil and it smells just like the beach!!! On to how the product works, it feels VERY light on your skin (almost like water) but it moisturizers VERY well. I highly recommend this product.

Foaming Face Wash
This is what the Bliss Oxygenating Facial Mask would feel like if it were a cleanser!! You apply a little of this cleanser on your damp face and the gel turns into a foam and begins to bubble and remove all of the impurities on your skin. It's really cool to watch!! In my opinion this is everything you want in a cleanser, it cleans your face without drying it out + you get a show while you clean your face..haha!!

Renewing & Brightening Facial Serum
I can't say I gave this product a thorough try because after the 4-5th use my face started to get irritated by this product so I stopped using it. As it is I am not a fan of the packaging because the little roller ball (like the Garnier products) that you have to use to apply this, bacteria anyone? I think this could be a good product for those that don't have sensitive skin & aren't irritated by silicones.

Nutrifying Night Cream
I've never really been a night cream user, but I decided it's time to pamper my skin a little more. I didn't use night creams in the past because I already have oily skin and didn't want to add to it with a heavy night cream. This is not your typical night cream people!! It's light, hydrating, and absorbs into my skin beautifully. When I wake up in the morning my skin shows NO signs of oil, it gives me the appearance of having a normal skin type. I think I will be using this product for a long time, especially since a little goes a long way.

Dollar General Revive Eye Cream
I bought this on the recommendation of Emily Noel's Dollar General video. This eye cream is the generic version of Olay Regenerist Eye Serum, but at a much better price! Olay Regenerist is $20, while this product was just under $6. Now I haven't been using this product for long enough to say I've seen any difference in the fine lines under my eyes, but I can say that it hydrates my eye area very well & sinks into my skin very quickly so I don't have to wait a long time to apply concealer.

Thayers Alcohol Free Rose Petal Witch Hazel
I bought this during a week that was really hot and humid, I felt like no matter how well I washed my face it wasn't clean enough (this was BEFORE I bought the foaming face wash above). This is a gentle product that does remove any leftover residue you may have on your face after washing it, but I just can't get past the fake rose smell. I would suggest this product to someone who is looking for a gentle toner and doesn't mind the smell of fake roses. Note: There are other formulas by Thayers that are also alcohol free that are scented differently, I may try one of those next time.

What new skin care products have you purchased lately?

Note: CVS is having a sale this week on Nuance products, spend $20 get $10 back in Extra Care Bucks!! That's an amazing deal!!
