Bliss Lotion Review

If you've been a follower of my blog for a while now then you know that I have a special place in my heart for Bliss products. I absolutely love them! Especially the products formulated for your face!

A few weeks ago when I went to Sephora and I received a sample of the product below to try out.

Best of Skintentions® Daily Moisturizer $35

What it is: A daily moisturizer that offers SPF 15 PA++ UVA/UVB sun protection for all skin types.

What it is formulated to do: Bliss Best of Skintentions® is a moisturizer on a mission to provide beautifully healthy skin—today, tomorrow, and beyond. Invest in your complexion with this formula's powerful sun and antioxidant protection, essential illuminating phytonutrients, vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids that work together to keep your skin safe and smooth.

What else you need to know: The current United States SPF system only measures protection from skin-burning UVB rays, but UVA radiation also causes skin aging, breaks down collagen and elastin, and damages cellular DNA. This product uses a Japanese PA rating system for evaluating UVA efficacy. PA++ is a rating that signifies UVA and UVB protection. This product is formulated without parabens.

I was very hesitant to try this product because I didn't want to fall in love with yet ANOTHER Bliss product. Well..too late!! It's love!! of course!!!!

Pros
-Contains SPF

-Light formula & didn't make my skin oily AT ALL.

-Did not make me break out.

-Leaves skin with a dewy finish.

-A small amount of product goes a long way.

-Unlike many other products that are considered 'light' this formula is not runny at all, you can actually feel the difference in your skin's texture after applying this. Hey..oily girls need moisture too!

Cons
-$35 can be a lot for some, in all honesty I think the $ is worth it because a little goes a long way!

-There's a light orange smell to this..to me the smell is VERY light & pleasant, but I know sometimes scent can be a problem for some.

Overall
I am definitely buying this again!!! This is going to be my new summertime lotion.

4.5 out of 5.

If you're still on the hunt for your summertime lotion you should pick up this set from Sephora, it includes a few of Sephora's best selling moisturizers including the Bliss product I just reviewed.

  1. Thanks for the Bliss review. I've heard PA was important in packaging (since most Asian SPF products have it) It's better to protect our skin when we're still young! :)

  2. Ooh, the Bliss moisturizer sounds divine. I think we have similar skin type, so this would prob work for me. BUT, Bliss can be sooo pricey. This will have to go on my splurge list.

    Thanks for the review!

  5. hi! just found you while searching for bliss' ounce of prevention am:), which i just purchased at my local marshalls for CHEAPO! i haven't tried it on my face yet, but it goes on so light and non-greasy on my hand...can't wait to test it out tomorrow.

so what do you think. . .do you like this one better than the ounce of prevention??

  6. @Deb I think it depends on your skin type or the time of year. I personally think the lotion I reviewed in this entry is better for my skin during the summer (oily skin), but the ounce of prevention is better for my skin in the winter (normal).

I can't believe you found Bliss at Marshalls!! I must go check it out.
